Jet Engine Model Motor Drive

This is a motor drive for the GE "Build Your Own Jet Engine". It replaces the hand crank of the original. I designed this to use a motor, switch and battery holder available from any RadioShack store. The gearbox is a 243:1 speed reduction based on the design from "mirk", but shrunk to 50%. The drive chain and drive gears are based on the design by "peanut", only shrunk in width. I also had to re-draw both of these as Slic3r was messing up on the edited versions I originally tried. Build Instruction Videos: Instructions Please watch the videos for the full build instructions 8/14 Updated box to a fixed (manifold) version 8/20 Updated stand to new version that should eliminate possible slicing issues Print the GE Build Your Own Jet Engine and assemble it, but DO NOT put on the hand crank, or attach the original stand. Print one of each part, apart from the "jet_enginedrive-_gear__print4" for which you'll need four (the clue is in the file name!). The "jet_enginedrive-_modified_basev2" REPLACES the "14-_stand" of the original model. The "jet_enginedrive-_engine_drivegear" glues on to the "9-_rear_cone" of the original, in place of the hand crank. Parts List: (1) RadioShack 1.5-3VDC Motor.
