There are several types of axial compressor rotors, including Disk and Blade varieties. I previously designed a dovetail type disk and blade assembly as part of an axial compressor VIGV and Stator set, which can be found at https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-jet-engine-component-axial-compressor-75164For the rear stages of HP compressors in modern engines, a circumferential dovetail slot type rotor is used. This method allows for easy blade installation using an allen wrench only, making it ideal for the "Drum Type Disk" design.
