Jet Engine Component; Axial Compressor - Circumferential Dovetail Slot Type
thingiverse
There are several types of axial compressor rotors, including Disk and Blade configurations. For the rear stages of HP compressors in recent engines, a circumferential dovetail slot type rotor is commonly used. This design allows for easy installation of blades using only an allen wrench, making it ideal for "Drum Type Disks." A partial model of this assembly process can be seen below to help assemble blades and locks into the disk. The following parts are included: (1) Disk with circumferential dovetail groove (2) Blades with circumferential dovetail - 3 types, totaling 6 blades (3) Locks - 2 units (4) Screws - internal hex head - 2 units (5) Assembly Stand and Blade Stops Downloadable files include: - STL Files (7 items) STL file name: "ws" indicates the presence of support material, which is specially designed. Purchase Part Information: - Screws - Internal Hex head (Stop Screw) - 3mm x 10mm - 2 units - M2x8 Screw - 2 units (Tool) Assembly Points: Standard skills such as drilling, tapping, filing, and tightening are required. A detailed assembly procedure is shown in the "Photo-Book01.pdf" file (Zip). Total Net Print Time: Approximately 12 hours Estimated print time based on PLA material with a 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height, 40% infill, and no raft or support.
