Jet Engine Component (5); Fan

I have created a scale model of several types of turbofan engines using my 3D printer. To simplify the design, I focused on the essential components and reduced their size accordingly. Next, I expanded each component to create an actual model that clearly explains its structure. This "Fan" model allows for comparison with the feature and configuration of a "Propeller." While there are many types of fan blades and associated parts, this is my imaginative design. The following explainable elements were incorporated into this model: (1) Fan Blade: A wide code laminated composite blade featuring a metal leading edge. For visual contrast, only painting was used to differentiate the materials. The central two blades can be removed and assembled by hand. (2) Fan Disk: This component has a "Dovetail" type slot for attaching the fan blade and an apparatus for the platform cover. (3) Platform Cover: A simplified cover attached to both end sides only, whereas actual engine covers are more complicated and secured using "Spinner Cone" parts. (4) Fan Case: The case consists of 3 layers. From inside out, these include a honeycomb acoustic absorption panel, fan case, and containment material layer (only painted). Purchase Parts Information: -Screws Screws; M1.4 - See Photo Assembly Points - Standard skills such as drilling, tapping, filing, tightening, painting, and gluing are required, along with perseverance. - Assembly procedures are shown in photos. - Fit checks between parts are essential. Total Net Print Time: Approx. 17HR - (Estimated for PLA, 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height, 40% infill, no raft, and support) Note: When printing, adjust parameters based on your experience. I hope you have fun making!!
