Jet Engine Component (1); Axial Compressor

Jet Engine Component (1); Axial Compressor

I have crafted the detailed model of about ten different types of jet engines. The fundamental component was simplified from size constraints imposed by my 3D printer. I then decided to expand each component and create the actual model that explains its structure. This is the "Axial Compressor" model. The following explainable elements were incorporated. (1) Variable Guide Vane Pitch change is possible through a linking lever. (2) Blade It has the "Dovetail Root" secured by the Retainer. (3) Disk It is called "Wing Disk" with labyrinth air seals. (4) Stator Brazing structure is replicated. (5) Assembly Jig The structural relationship between the above-mentioned elements is replicated. From now on, other components such as a Turbine, Fan, Propeller and so on will be manufactured.
