Jet Dust Collector Reducer

Jet Dust Collector Reducer

The manual for the Jet Proshop II table saw claims a standard 4" dust collection port, but the outside dimension measures 3.85" (98mm) and inside dimension is even smaller, making my standard hose adapter incompatible. I suspect one of these dimensions may be less standard than the other. Printing test rings helped me pinpoint the correct dimensions for the large and small hose fittings, ensuring a snug fit without band clamps. So far, so good. Whether this adapter expands over time or not remains to be seen. This adapter was printed in PETG with no supports in about 9 hours. Made using Tinkercad, I've shared it online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/dJfeA4LxClV for anyone to edit.
