JET DC-850 dust collector magnetic connection system

In my workshop I use an inexpensive JET DC-850 chip removal system. This system is able to work well, but only with one machine. Magnetic flanges make it very convenient and quick to switch to different machines. But different machines have different pipe diameters for the exit of chips and sawdust. Here are my machines and pipe diameters: JET DC-850 outer diameter of the receiving pipe 100 mm Makita 5008MG pipe outer diameter 38mm Dewalt DWE7485 pipe inner diameter 58 mm Metabo KSG216M tube outer diameter 42 mm JIB BAS312 pipe outer diameter 100mm Bosch GOF130 rip fence adapter 60 mm Cyclone Separator SN50T6 pipe outer diameter 55.6 mm So, I concluded that a 60 mm hose would be enough for chip removal and this hose fits well on 64 mm pipes. I have made magnetic flanges for all my machines and now I can quickly transfer the hose to any of them. I used magnets with a diameter of 8 mm and a height of 3 mm, 8 pieces for each part. I glued the magnets onto Akfix 705 two-component glue, first lubricate with resin and press the magnets in, and then spray the hardener. Warning!!! Observe the polarity of the magnets when gluing! Polarity error and parts will repel each other. I hope you also like this approach, because it speeds up the work and does not require large investments.
