Jet Aerator - Live Bait Tank This was designed to boost dissolved oxygen levels in a live bait tank as two air stones couldn't keep up with traveling times and the bait kept dying. Using the bilge pump outlet to flow over a single stone, I created turbulent water by incorporating internal veins that made the water rotate. The air hose had to be sealed through the inlet because it might not fit perfectly. The air stone was purchased from a local pet store; it measures about 15.4mm in outer diameter and 21mm in length plus the tube fitting.
