Divine child, I call upon you, My God and Lord, to whom I cling. You shall possess my heart, forevermore. Comfort of Christians, source of peace, I place all my sorrows in your gentle hands. You know my deepest troubles, and I trust you with them all. Bring calm to the troubled and solace to my heart. Divine child, my God and Lord, you will own my heart. Though your love may seem unworthy, I shall come to you in faith, For you are the Son of God, and comfort of the Christian soul. You alone can bring me peace and relief from my suffering. Remember, O Holy Child, that no one has ever prayed to you without receiving help. So with faith and trust, humility and repentance, I come before you, full of love and devotion. Protect me, dear child, and keep me safe in your loving care. Divine child, my God and Lord, you will be the owner of my heart.
