Jessamine County Courthouse
thingiverse
In the mid-1880's, construction kicked off on a brand-new courthouse in Nicholasville, Kentucky. This building was tasked with replacing an older brick courthouse that had been built back in 1823. The new courthouse came with a hefty price tag of $38,385 and was designed by Pittsburgh-based architect Thomas Boyd. Fast-forward to the mid-1960's, when renovations got underway on the courthouse, and two-story wings were added to either side of the building. By 1984, the Jessamine County Courthouse, along with several other buildings in the area, earned a spot on the National Register of Historic Places. It took around three and a half hours to complete. If you choose to use supports, be cautious in the tower. The first time I printed this, I was unable to remove the supports. The second time (as shown in images), I only used supports on the front porch. How I Designed This I designed this model using tinkercad.
