Tech2C Celebrates HyperCube Anniversary with Revolutionary Hot-end Mount Design Tech2C Marks 12 Month Milestone of the HyperCube by Introducing a New, Removable Hot-end Mount that Sets a New Standard in 3D Printing. The design is a result of remixing their previous creation to accommodate an 18mm sensor directly on the mount, offering unparalleled stability and precision. Innovative Sensor Stabiliser Enhances Top Support The newly designed hot-end mount features an optional sensor stabiliser that provides additional support at the top, ensuring optimal performance even in demanding printing conditions. This cutting-edge design is complemented by the July 16th 2017 X carriage design of Tech2C's HyperCube. Increased Stability through Strategic Screw Holes To further enhance stability, the small mount has been modified with an additional screw hole that attaches to one of the pandect holes on the original Tech2C HyperCube E3D mount. This thoughtful addition ensures a rock-solid connection between the hot-end and the printer. Expanded Design Options for Enhanced User Experience The initial design was found to be slightly too tight for the sensor, prompting a 1mm enlargement of the hole to accommodate it comfortably. Additionally, the same screw and nut option has been incorporated into the more rugged design by mbruehl, providing users with a wider range of choices. Streamlined Sensor Mounting Process The new hot-end mount features a convenient screw and nut option for easy sensor mounting. Instead of using challenging 18mm screws on the sensor, users can simply fasten it with an M3 nut and screw, making the process more accessible and efficient. Larger Tube Ensures Sensor Stability A larger tube has been integrated into the design to provide greater stability for the sensor within the mount. This thoughtful addition ensures that the sensor remains securely in place, even during demanding printing operations.
