Let it be my entry for the street car Motivation and design ideology: - I wanted to design perfectlly aerodynamic shape of the car at the same time having in mind agressiveness and visual outlook. - Some features: a) Front and rear overhangs are minimal (almost none in comparison to the chassis) in order to maintain maneuvrability b) Front is designed to capture the most air for every cooling system inside, there are no other intakes currently, but in future I might add side inlets c) Front-rear top: Is designed to systain high speed oscillations and maintain sideways stability d) side winglets: starting from the mid towards very rear: designed to maintain cornering stability, basically, holding the car in upright-downforce position and prevent slip and overturn (when car tries to turn two quickly from the angular-speed-of-the-turn/course-speed ratio point of view, a vortex appears and negative pressure gradient tries to resist it) e) Same thing happens for high speeds, the holding force becomes higher and car is more stable, basically wind "holds" the car straight f) back is designed to be outlet for any incoming cooling air, preserving the stream and avoiding turbulence behind the car. g) I’ve specifically designed advanced aerodynamic rear wing (spoiler) which you can download and use for your cars as well here: Rear wing S821 Aerofoil (designed with advanced aerodynamics) h) Front intakes serve the same propose: maintaining the stability of the car on high speeds and cornerings: on the lower wind speeds intakes help cornering, on higher- resist overturning. Also the higher the angle between the wind speed and axis of the car, the more downforce they will generate. Therefore cornerings can be done with higher speed as side grip becomes higher. i) Visually I’ve tried to preserve simplisity maintaining aero-effects and downforse-to-drag ratio as high as possible everywhere I think overall it has brilliant performance, and probably I will be able to demonstrate some CFD analysis of it soon. At the same time it kind of has personality and hopefully charm together with required level of aggressiveness.
