Here's a tool that streamlines the process of folding jelly roll fabric and batting strips when sewing a jelly roll rug. You can find photos illustrating how to utilize it below. I previously relied on Wonder Clips, but this method has proven to significantly expedite the process. To keep your fabric aligned before pulling down the sasher on your strip, it's beneficial to fold a spot near the bottom of the section and hold it taut with the needle in the downward position. This helps prevent the fabric from shifting, thereby ensuring it lines up perfectly when you push the sasher down. This sasher is compatible with 2.5" fabric strips accompanied by either 2.25" or 2.5" batting. I've also included a second one for use with 2" fabric strips.
