The countess traveled to Rome in 1815, personally overseeing the creation of a full-length marble portrait statue commissioned from Thorvaldsen. Completed in 1819, this magnificent work is now proudly displayed at the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg. Crafted by Christian Constantin Olsen under the watchful eye of H.W.Bissen, who carefully guided him based on the original plaster model created in 1815, it carries the museum inventory number A167.
