I highly recommend pairing it with OctoPrint and the Enclosure plugin for seamless integration. The microswitch used in my design offers a reliable alternative to optical sensors, eliminating potential issues that can arise with transparent filaments. For added flexibility, the switch is designed with adjustable slots, allowing you to fine-tune its position to your liking. I sourced the switches from the link below and had to modify the metal lever to match the length of the microswitch body.
