This adapter lets you buy the new Chines T-shifters from Amazon or Aliexpress that have too short of what I am calling the "cross assembly" to work. I have tested it only in my 2000 XJ. I printed it out of polycarbonate for wear resistance smoothed the front and rear nose radiuses so it would actuate properly and lubricated with white lithium grease.
