Several years ago, my Jeep Wrangler TJ's 2004 sign lighting system failed. Replacement parts would have cost hundreds of dollars, so this design was created to replace the original mounting and LED lights. In my project, I reused the car's covers but also designed new ones during the process for future replacement. The idea was to fill the hole with plastic to give a transparent surface.
