A custom mounting solution for CB or ham radio microphones, designed to securely attach using the existing dash screw located beside the driver's right knee. Currently, this design is being utilized as-is; however, several modifications are anticipated for future iterations. These adjustments will aim to enhance overall performance and usability. Firstly, a correction is required to ensure the screw hole diameter matches the actual size of the screw. This discrepancy currently results in the screw not sitting flush within the existing hole. To further optimize this design, the mount's curvature should be precisely matched to that of the dashboard. This subtle yet critical adjustment will guarantee a seamless integration and minimize visual distractions. Lastly, a fillet feature will be added to the part connecting the two dash pieces. This subtle detail will not only improve aesthetics but also serve as a reinforcement, adding strength to this crucial attachment point.
