Elevate your 1997-2006 Wrangler or Cherokee's front springs by 2 inches using coil spring spacers. These spacers have withstood 1650 psi when printed with PLA at 10% infill, each puck supporting 12,900 lbs before deforming. However, they are yet to be tested in real-world conditions. Print and use at your own risk as a testament to the experimenter's curiosity. An update from May 9, 2014, reveals that these spacers have been functioning perfectly for two weeks on a test Jeep, enduring washboard dirt roads, bumpy trails, and street potholes without showing any signs of deformation, cracks, or failures. The long-term update from July 5, 2014, reports a failure - the right rear puck collapsed due to heat from the exhaust. Front pucks continue to hold up excellently, while rear ones left an imprint in the pucks as expected. For Cherokee usage, no issues are anticipated; however, for Wrangler, a heat shield around the exhaust where it passes over the axle is suggested. For printing, use PLA on a MakerBot Replicator 5th Gen. at 100 mm/s extrude, 200 mm/s travel, 10% infill, six shells, and .2mm layer height.
