2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK/JKU Dash Mount ==================== This dash mount will allow mounting of 3 devices on a Jeep Wrangler JK or JKU. I'll be adding additional mounts in the future. Ram Mounts --------------------- The v2 Ram mount is 25mm and I used screws from a computer case to attach it. The v4 Ram mount is 25mm and I used M3 nut inserts with M3x8mm hex head bolts with M3 washers. 20mm Ram Mount uses M3 nut inserts with M3x8mm hex head bolts with M3 washers. Go Pro Mount uses M3 nut inserts with a M5 Nut and M5x20mm hex head bolt. Install the mounts that you would like to use to the dash mount. 2. Remove the rubber insert that's in the dash tray. 3. Remove the 7mm screw that's located in the dash tray. 4. Clean tray area with alcohol wipes to prep for the VHB tape. 5. Apply VHB tape to the bottom of the model and to the small edge that faces to the rear. 6. Insert the 7mm screw and tighten. 7. Use firm pressure and pull the print to the rear to make sure the tape is bonded. 8. Enjoy! The mount has been road tested with 2 Samsung phones and a Garmin 66i GPS on a country backroad with plenty of bumps. ###Update 5/13/21 * reworked the dash mount model to flatten a top surface. An extra partial layer was being printed on the thin part where the mounting screw goes. * added more space for the mounting screw washer. * re-oriented model and aligned to origin.
