Jeep Willys
thingiverse
It's my Jeep Willys from the second World War. I've been modeling it on 3D Max and it's still a work in progress, but I'm excited to share what I've done so far. Right now, the wheels are spinning and the front tires have direction, moving together as they turn left or right. I'm planning to add some kind of suspension system to make it more realistic, but that part is taking longer than expected - hopefully, I'll get to it soon. The next project is already underway: a new model with all parts ready for printing on their own. If you try to print the current version as-is, you'll need to adjust the scale by about 50%. How I Built It I created the model using pictures I found online, which served as my reference points. I wasn't too concerned with getting every detail just right, but I did want to make sure the vehicle could have a suspension system, spinning wheels, and steering front tires.
