Jeep TJ Tire Support

My jeep has slightly larger tires that stock… and this adds a lot of extra weight that the TJ tailgate wasn't made for. And while my tailgate has a reinforcement bracket on it, I still like the piece of mind of having an extra support. I started this with a trailer hitch that also had a upper receiver that happened to be just the right height for what I needed, with some mild grinding (I have 33" tires and a 2" body lift)(found here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073TFH46X). And then I did my annual tire rotation.... Needless to say, I soon realized I needed something that would be adjustable over the life of the tires, so I designed this as a way to add customizable shims and hold them in place without hindering the use of that hitch receiver. The shims are just printed at whatever known size you'd like and multiple can be stacked for any height you desire. All of my designs are unpaid passion projects that I choose to share, and I provide mesh models for free, but if you'd like to support me and my work, donations are greatly appreciated.
