Upgrade Your TJ's Sound: Convert Front Speaker to 5.25". Swap out your stock 4"x6" front speaker in your Jeep TJ for a larger 5.25". Installation is a snap, as the adapter fits snugly into the factory location and requires no extra hardware. Simply screw it in with M3 bolts. The 1998 TJ model will definitely fit this upgrade seamlessly, but whether it'll work on earlier or later models - such as the '97-'02 TJs - is uncertain, so proceed with caution. This single adapter file works perfectly well for either driver or passenger side installations. However, remember to flip it over 180 degrees, making sure that "outside" lettering faces outwards towards your TJ's exterior.
