I replaced my worn-out gas struts on my JK Jeep Wrangler by printing a strut helper that snaps onto the strut, keeping it upright when needed. - One of these helpers is all you need to hold the rear glass in place on your Jeep. - I've had good results with PLA so far, but in hot summer temperatures, it might shrink over time; consider using PETG or ABS for added durability. - When printing, orient the "Jeep Life" side down on the print bed for optimal results. - The strut diameter measures roughly 5/8", making this design potentially adaptable to other vehicles and hood struts.
