A pillar cap with ball mount (20mm) can be adapted for use with other mounting systems, such as the 67 design. However, increasing the diameter of the ball mount will be necessary to ensure compatibility with ram mount systems. PLA materials have shown acceptable results so far, but their durability in summer temperatures is uncertain. Early prints have exhibited deformation at elevated temperatures, which may lead to loose parts and increased vibration.
