This is a sunglasses clip designed specifically for a Jeep JK 2008 model. There are numerous sunglasses clips available on Thingiverse, but the Jeep poses unique challenges due to its hard plastic visor. Unlike leather or cloth visors, this one tends to slip easily when attempting to attach any type of clip. Additionally, the visor's uneven thickness, both vertically and horizontally, makes it difficult for a friction fit to stay in place securely. After numerous design iterations and prototypes, I concluded that the most effective approach would be to create a clip that wraps around the visor itself. PETG plastic is flexible enough to conform snugly around the visor when secured with a 3mm screw and nylock nut, effectively connecting both sides of the clip without modifying the visor in any way. To ensure durability, I opted for PETG printing material, as temperatures in my area don't pose a problem. However, if you reside in regions with high temperatures, such as Arizona, ABS may be a better choice.
