A significant update to DGP-Design's and Pound's Grabcad Jeep CJ and YJ taillight housing is now available, offering several enhancements. To begin with, I've taken the initiative to deepen the holes for the lens screws, eliminating the need for drilling them by hand. Additionally, a hole has been added for wiring integration, ensuring a seamless installation process. Furthermore, rails have been included for the separator plate, providing flexibility in case you choose to use a stock red/clear lens. This thoughtful design consideration will save you time and effort in the long run. Consider printing this updated housing in ABS without support using Cura's "Make overhangs printable" feature. This approach will significantly reduce printing time and filament consumption compared to regular support printing. If, however, you're looking for a stock appearance, printing with support is still an option. The package includes a separator plate as well as the Fusion 360 file for the housing itself.
