I took the SentinelProps' model of this saber and broke it down into more manageable pieces for my printer. I adjusted the orientation in which I printed it, splitting the saber body into two sections. However, I still found the upper portion to be too large, so I divided it into three parts at points where the part lines wouldn't be visible. To ensure proper alignment of the parts while gluing, a rolled-up piece of paper inserted into the hollow center proved perfect. I used supports for the prongs and the upper pieces, but I believe the upper body can be printed without them. Despite using supports, the final product turned out great with only minor sanding. This may help someone else who struggled to print this on their Ender 3 without splitting the model. Happy Printing! If you're new to 3D modeling or unfamiliar with Fusion 360, let me know if you need assistance breaking down a print or making modifications. It's good practice for me too - a win-win situation!
