A ceramic parallelepipedic block with a suspension hole. This object would be used as a weight in a vertical loom, to keep the warp threads (hanging vertically) under tension, between which the weft threads (horizontal) intertwined, forming the fabric. They are one of few components of the loom that survive the degradation of the wooden structure.
