I created a modified version of the "JBL Flip 3 Speaker Holder by JORDANSZ" found on Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1403280). This adaptation was inspired by my wife Els' idea to transform it into a shelf holder. I've included the SketchUp file so you can adjust the design to fit your specific shelf thickness. The original version is optimized for a 15mm thick shelf, which translates to approximately 0.6 inches. To produce this item, I employed the following print settings: Printer: Home-made i3 model Rafts: Not used in this print job Supports: Yes, strategically placed to ensure structural integrity Resolution: Set at 0.2mm for crisp details and texture Infill: Utilized a 20% density setting for optimal balance between weight and strength
