This is a home I built for my baby tortoise Ned, which features a terrace, a covered area, and a sunning rock where he can soak up the warmth. I may add a fountain at some point to create a soothing atmosphere. To build this habitat, you will need 20MM plastic pipe, a bit of hardware, and small wireties that match your personal style and aesthetic sense. The stairs are a customized version of an amazing chainmail design that can be found on the Thingiverse website, with ID: 881114. Coming soon are couplers and corner joints for various sizes, as well as PVC specific pipe sized couplers, joints, and tiedowns, or maybe even a customizer with presets. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer Model: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .3 Infill: 20 Notes: Food-safe PLA is recommended for printing this habitat. Post-Printing and Assembly: I used a plywood base covered in the plastic that came with the reptarium kit. Short screws from filament spools are perfect to mount the pipe and bridge foot to the base. The couplers are held together with 3/4" #10 socket head screws and nuts, ensuring a secure and stable structure for Ned's home.
