JavaPresse 3D Printed Drill Attachment

JavaPresse 3D Printed Drill Attachment

grabcad

This 3D model represents a drill attachment for a JavaPresse, featuring a hex connection at the rear and a penta-socket on the front side compatible with the JavaPresse top. The penta-socket offers a tight fit but is easily removable. Due to variations in 3D printers, you may need to adjust the side length of the penta-socket for scaling purposes. This can be done using Inventor or most 3D modeling software by altering the part's scale. The model was successfully printed on a MakerBot Mini with "solid" material for strength. A test piece of the penta-socket, measuring 1/8 inch (0.125 inch) in thickness, is included for testing purposes to save material and time while experimenting with different scales. There are two versions available: one for a 1/2 inch (0.5 inch) drill chuck and another for a 3/8 inch (0.375 inch) drill chuck.
