I designed this custom fix for a friend whose JavaPress manual grinder broke down. I salvaged the broken part and upgraded it, transforming it from a two-ear grip to a four-ear design that perfectly matched the plus shape of the ceramic burr grinder. My friend has been using it consistently for almost three years now - a remarkable feat considering the original only lasted four months in his hands.
