Jason with the Golden Fleece (A52), 1803, Bertel Thorvaldsen (1770 - 1844) crafted this masterpiece in Rome from a single block of marble, standing tall at 242 cm. On display at the Thorvaldsen museum in Copenhagen, Denmark, this iconic sculpture was brought to life with cutting-edge technology from AutoDesk's ReMake and ReCap. Jason with the Golden Fleece served as Bertel Thorvaldsen's ticket to fame, earning him recognition within Roman cultural circles during the early 19th century. It is reported that renowned English art collector Thomas Hope caught sight of the statue in plaster form while visiting Thorvaldsen's studio near Palazzo Barberini and promptly commissioned a marble replica.
