How I Designed This step by step the 10 steps step one: determine the arm's width, height, and length for the character. make a sketch and use boss extrude. step 2: avoid square shoulder pads; instead, make them round with curved edges. step 3: add a Roman-inspired shoulder pad design using boss extrude. step 4: ensure protection from sides by changing the angle of this feature when the character holds its arm at an angle. extrude the opposite side from the starting plane, creating a sweep cut. step 5: add additional protection for a more rugged look; apply the same technique as step 4. step 6: create a new plane on the same level as the first extrusion. step 7: design a plane further away and make a cut in it. step 8: mirror both steps 6 and 7 to achieve symmetry on the other side. step 9: refine the design by making a cut that looks better visually. step 10: apply fillets where desired curves are needed. I did not provide specific measurements as I designed this part freehand, referencing the assembly's layout for aesthetic appeal. The best approach to assemble parts is with construction lines, preferably from a sketch of the connected part's exact flat surface. Copy this sketch onto the part you're creating. As a beginner in SolidWorks and CAD design, I'm experimenting with various techniques.
