I'm displaying a photo of one-nineteenth scale Yamato Class Battleship model. Several parts are not accurately sized. The Yamato-class battleships were built from 1937 through 1942. The first vessel in the class, Yamato, was put into service just after Pearl Harbor was attacked and played a part in the Battle of Midway. Just two Yamato-class battleships were finished exactly as designed while one was turned into an aircraft carrier, and two more remained unfinished. Due to holding multiple records, including largest ever constructed battleship and largest naval gun carriage, it is unlikely that these marks will ever be broken by others. The vessels were armed with nine massive 18-inch guns supported by twelve six-inch guns and another dozen five-inch guns as part of their secondary firepower. This is just a portion of my growing collection featuring historical warships from World War II; keep checking back for additional photos in the coming days. If there's a specific ship model you would like to see, feel free to reach out via private message.
