The Japanese Type-C submarines comprised an array of cruiser submarines built by the Japanese navy, showcasing innovative design and robust construction methods. Various variants emerged with subtle differences in structural composition and power-plant efficiency. This 3D-printed model is optimized for a scale of 1/1800th but can be scaled up or down with some tweaking. Printing at larger sizes is possible, but details may get lost in translation due to an abundance of complexity. Key features like the gun barrels and mast have been augmented for clarity. Edit 16 May '19: Corrected a labeling oversight, this magnificent vessel is actually a Type C submarine, not a Type B. Edit 15 Oct '19: Made some precision adjustments to refine the intricate details of the model. Tested with PLA material at an incredibly fine layer height of .08mm using a nozzle size of .4mm.
