Description The display is mostly based on Modeller's 1/64 Initial D display box but I have expanded and slightly upscale the width of the roads to fit Hot Wheels better. The holes for tying the cars are designed to fit most Hot Wheels, there is a no holes variant included that will fit any cars too. But if it doesn't fit and you want the base to fit a specific casting please send me the dimensions indicated here: https://imgur.com/5T6mb2L The display base is separated into multiple parts for easy printing and colour swap. The parts are: 1) Base - Base_-Giant-_HW.STL 2) Base back wall: - FlatWallBuild.STL - FlatWallBuild - Initial D.STL 3) Flat Base - FlatBase2.STL - FlatBase2 - No Holes.STL The following parts are optional: 1) Lines colour (use it if you want a flat surface instead of each line being a 1mm to 2mm deep) - WhiteLines - HW.STL - WhiteLines - HW - No Holes.STL - YellowLines - HW - No Holes.STL - YellowLines.STL Print Settings Nozzle size = 0.5 mm (0.4 will be printable and smaller better) Layer height = 0.2 mm Filament change layer for colours on "FlatWallBuild.STL": 1) Start (Overall background colour, mine is in orange) 2) Layer 7 (Mountain peak colours, mine is in white) 3) Layer 12 (Overall mountain colour, mine is in grey) 4) Layer 17 (Trees and Japanese words outline colour, mine is in black) 5) Lyaer 22 (Japanese words lettering colour, mine is in white) Filament change layer for colours on "FlatWallBuild - Initial D.STL": 1) Start (Overall background colour) 2) Layer 7 (Mountain peak colours) 3) Layer 12 (Overall mountain colour) 4) Layer 17 (Trees and "INITIAL" lettering colour) 5) Lyaer 22 ("D" lettering colour) Filament change layer for colours on "FlatBase2.STL & FlatBase2 - No Holes.STL": 1) Start (Yellow lines) 2) Layer 4 (White lines) 3) Layer 9 (Overall road colour) Assembly The car is tied by wires through the hole in the base Back plate fit into the groove provided on the display base but it wasn't deep enough to hold it in place bu itself. I have added 3 small walls at the back of it so you can fit double sided tape or drip some glue behind it. Flat base will fit nicely on to the main base and the guardrail will fit into the holes provided on the flat base. If you chose to use the optional parts, the white and yellow lines might need to be trim slightly to fit into the base perfectly. I made them a tight fit because I dont want a big gap in the fittings. Others Feel free to send me any feedback on how to improve the design. Suggestion on display base designs are welcomed too.
