This traditional Japanese Kyusu teapot is specifically designed for Gong Fu brewing. Its volume measures just over 110mL, and increasing volume can be achieved by scaling the component itself. Scaling beyond 125% is not advised for finer, more delicate teas that may become too small to pass through the filter unobstructed. For larger pickings and whole leaf teas, scaling up to 200% should work perfectly well. Supportive printing on this part poses a challenge. Placing support within the spout can make cleaning it out extremely difficult.
