Officially Extinct in 1970   The Japanese sea lion is a now extinct species of sea lion that was native to the Sea of Japan. It was a relatively small sea lion, with males reaching a maximum length of about 2.5 meters and females being slightly smaller. It was known for its agility and swiftness in the water, where it primarily hunted fish and squid. Unfortunately, due to overhunting for its fur and competition for fish with humans, the Japanese sea lion was declared extinct in the 1970s. Model includes a Pre-supported version. The model is sized for 1:24 of the actual size. You can reduce or enlarge the model using the slicing software if you need a different size. Pre-supported model is oriented to minimize supports to the face and other high-detail parts. Care should be taken when removing the supports to avoid damaging the model.
