This 3DsMax 2012 file, named Japanese Pine B, is ready for rendering using V-Ray. It contains a single realistic tree model divided into two editable meshes - needles separated from the trunk and branches. The file also includes a textured ground plane along with grass proxies from the Grass Short Collection for scattering, which is in a separate file. Polygon count stands at 806,561, while vertex count is 747,694; the file size is 14.688 kB. The ground plane and grass have polygon counts of 52,422 and 34,696 respectively with a file size of 556 kB. V-Ray Materials (materials and bitmaps) are integrated into the model to give it a realistic look. High-resolution bitmaps and opacity maps have been used for needles, each with three variants to ensure diverse looks while keeping the file size minimal. The package comes with 21 high-res textures for needles, branches, trunk, and grass with two-sided material. Note that the camera and lighting setup from the renders were for presentation purposes only and are not included in the file. The renders were directly extracted from MAX using a basic V-Ray Camera and Sun setup, without any Photoshop or other adjustments.
