The ship in question is a scaled-down Nagato Class Battleship model. A few parts of this design aren't accurately represented due to size limitations. Two ships of the same class were produced in the 1910s, yet they saw extremely little action during World War II. The Mutsu had a crucial component fail due to sabotage from one of its crew members and eventually sank in 1943. In contrast, the Nagato was destroyed in 1946 following U.S. nuclear testing after the war. This model is designed to represent a full-scale Nagato Class Battleship at one eighty-hundredths the real thing's size. Scaling this model up or down from there may also be achievable with adjustments to fit. Due to limited detail when scaled beyond the target size, it isn't ideal for printing versions of this design in sizes other than 1/1800th scale. Gun barrels and masts on larger scales appear too small. This particular Nagato Class Battleship model is a component of my WWII-era warships collection. Keep an eye out for more such prints coming online in the future, as requests from users will also guide my next priorities to print. Users who have any special request or interest should contact me directly through messaging; I'll prioritize the models you're most keen on seeing added. I recently updated this 1/1800th scale model design by adding a few components - these were: smaller boats and more extensive details. Some of these changes may not fit larger scales well, but should improve usability and overall appearance. To obtain optimal results, it's recommended that prints be executed at an extrusion width no greater than 4 layers or thicker. Users looking to push the boundaries can opt for .08mm nozzle diameters - even smaller options will generally yield even finer print resolution quality overall.
