Japanese Nagara Class Cruiser Warship 3D print model

This miniature replica represents the Imperial Japanese Navy's Nagara class cruiser in 1/1800th scale, albeit some elements have been exaggerated for effect. The Nagara class was a six-ship set of light cruisers built in the aftermath of WWI by the Imperial Japanese Navy, and unfortunately, all six vessels met their demise during WWII. The main armament comprised fourteen 5.5-inch guns along with eight torpedo tubes in two quadruple mounts, not to mention various other smaller-caliber ordnance. This scaled model is meticulously crafted to mirror its original size at 1/1800th scale, but the model's structure makes it easily up-scalable or down-scaling adaptable; albeit printing larger versions can result in less detailed workmanship. To achieve more intricate design details on gun barrels and masts were artificially increased. I constructed this ship as part of an assortment of WWII warships that make up my comprehensive collection - keep an eye out for other replicas to emerge from my workshop.
