Here's a blueprint for a lantern that can be cut with a laser cutter. The design is compatible with 4 mm wood, but you'll also find STEP, STL, and OBJ files if you want to make any modifications. I used recycled paper to create the "glass" effect. Note that the DXF file is from 2004, so it may not be fully compatible with modern software.
