Japanese joinery - a wacky test piece

It seems that i will not re-invent a thousand year old woodworking design. But i can go a little crazy with it. The result is still very good.BE AWARE if you print it as is, tightening the screw will likely break the layer lines… It still works even if one part is in two halves. That Japanese joinery tech is amazing. If you know how to solve the screw issue without changing print orientation, tell me.While adding diagonal lines improves printability, it does not do much for the join - it would slide diagonally if the wedge is not used. Not a big deal.I made the whole shape diagonala wacky wild non-symmetrical shapei made the wedge itself a little skew so it bites better (that actually works)i also tried a very sharp version. It works too but is not as precise in the tips and is.. well sharpHoles are 4mm, should fit a small sunken head wood screw Originally i intended to use this as a connection for a rack to hang it on a wall.. and it can certainly do the job, but the design is really complex and difficult to adapt. Leaving it as a standalone piece might be better.
