1/1800th scale Ise Class Hybrid Aircraft Carrier model. Certain key components not proportionally scaled.\n\nIse class Hybrid Aircraft Carriers were a pair of ships created during World War 1. Like many early Japanese warships, they were renovated prior to World War 2 yet still regarded as outdated by the time hostilities began. After the Battle of Midway showcased the significance of airpower in naval conflicts, the Imperial Japanese Navy chose to transform some of their battleships into hybrid aircraft carriers. The Ise-class warships became the first and only battleships ever modified in this manner. Before their transformation, they carried a dozen fourteen-inch guns and sixteen 5.25-inch guns. The conversion eliminated four of the fourteen-inch guns and all of the 5.25-inch guns. A substantial number of anti-aircraft guns were incorporated during the renovation as well.\n\nThis model represents one part of my comprehensive collection of World War II warships, with more to come. If you have a particular request, message me directly and I will move it up my list immediately.\n\nUpdate 02 Oct 19: Enhanced boats and anchor chains detail added successfully using PLA material at .1mm layer height with a .4mm nozzle size setting tested previously.
