Japanese G-Sha Tea Pot Stand No. 1 (芸者茶)
grabcad
Stand for tea pot designed with Bysoft 7 / SolidWorks. On top of the grid a tea pot can be placed and the rings underneath it can be used to place 39mm standard tea candles creating a playground for shadow and light. This part turned out to be more difficult than I intended it to become. Points to watch out are the holes for the candles as they are within the bend zone. Use relief cuts or better wing bend tools to avoid that. Another point is collision control. Make sure to use 100mm dies. Last but not least the gauging becomes tricky and next time I will use a more advanced backgauge. In case of the Bystronic Xpert 80/1530 I used for the POC simulation such an option is called "3rd finger". I think this part can be bend on much smaller machines but the 1530mm length come in very handy.
