Japanese Frames
thingiverse
These were created as a birthday gift for someone who appreciates Japanese aesthetics. The characters in the corners represent the four seasons: "winter", "spring", "summer", and "autumn". They are designed to fit wallet-sized photographs that measure 3.5 inches by 2.5 inches. We chose to use two small pieces of painter's tape to secure the back plate in place, as we weren't sure about the usefulness of the hanging holes on the back. However, for those who can't read Japanese, these holes will serve as a helpful guide to ensure the picture is oriented correctly.
