In Japanese mythology and folklore, the futakuchi-onna (, lit. “two-mouthed woman”) is a type of yōkai or Japanese monster. Most famous tale: In a small village, a stingy miser lived alone because he couldn't afford to feed a wife. He met a woman who didn't eat anything and quickly married her, thrilled by her hard work and refusal to eat. However, his rice stores kept dwindling. One day, the miser pretended to leave for work but stayed behind to spy on his new wife. To his shock, he saw her hair part on the back of her head, revealing a gaping mouth in her skull. She unbound her hair, which reached out like tentacles to snatch the rice and shove it into the hungry mouth.
