Jansjo Switch Clip

This thing was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/iuCrudNcQRJ I'm a huge fan of Ikea Jansjo led lights and have several at home, but I always end up frustrated by the cord switch - it's never where I can find it when I need it. This clip will solve that problem for me by mounting the switch to the tapered section of the base, making it easy to access whenever I want to turn on or off my lamp. Printing in PLA works great with this design, but keep in mind that you'll definitely need to use supports to get a smooth finish. Here's how to assemble the clip: First, insert the switch into the bottom clip and then snap it into place within the upper arms. The slot in the back of the clip is designed to be just wide enough to clear gooseneck lamps before dropping over the tapered base - a clever touch that makes installation a breeze. If you're interested in seeing how this design works with other lamp designs, check out my Monoprice Select 13860, which was also created by Luddy and has proven to work very well for me.
